And then some.

If you're getting comp time, maybe a trip abroad?

Or an escape to a beach?

Or a tour of the Grand Canyon and America's National Parks?

My fingers are crossed. Hopefully this time next year, things will be very different.

Mrs. Aristus and I like cruising, and obviously that industry is taking a beating right now. But with Mrs. Aristus afraid to fly, we've had to confine our cruises to the ones that depart locally, from Seattle, or Vancouver, B.C. It's time to fly (pun intended) further afield.

Mrs. Aristus has never visited Europe. I'm hoping one day within the next two years or so being able to take a cruise of the Baltic, and visit places like Germany (where I was stationed in the Army), Estonia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, and the UK.

Which you have earned...

Maybe a Transatlantic Cruise.

Or, better still, THREE cruises. One to get you there, one to see everything, one to get you back!

It's possible that after you're done, you won't need to cruise for a while...

Everyone has different jobs.

Everyone has different woes.

No, I work an 8 hour day. I was furloughed for a while, but now I'm back.

But other people who have work from home jobs like me may sympathize.

sitting in this thing for most part of 55 hours a week getting on my nerves - looks like due to the rapid increase in covid cases, investing in a better chair may be the prudent thing to do

if we needed to. I wasn't interested in dragging it home but others have. It was bad enough bringing all my computer gear home.

I've been on furlough since March, and when I came back last week it had become a mostly remote job. Which I'm okay with, but my old chair was cheap and twenty years old at least, lol. What I bought isn't a regular office chair, it's a gaming chair. It is amazingly comfy, it has the lower and mid back support I need when I'm sitting straight up at the computer, and a high back for my head when I lean back. It was only 200 bucks, at Office Depot. Editing to add, Office Depot had a great selection on the floor to try, and that was what I wanted; they also had it in stock. And the prices were quite fair. I was not going to buy a chair I hadn't sat in. Not if I have to sit in it 3-4 days a week for 8 hours!
On another note, we went to three stores: Best Buy, Office Depot and Target. None of them was busy. Target had the most people; Best Buy had empty shelves and no customers, and Office Depot had almost no customers. The Best Buy looked like it was about to go out of business. Targwt looked kike they didn't have enough people to keep the store blocked and straightened up. Most people were wearing masks.

It was fairly easy, and an allen wrench was included. I was surprised because it came with an actual booklet. I can't remember if they offered to put it together, I'll ask mr lib when he gets home.

expensive. Even bought a Serta chair over almost $300 and still cant find a comfortable one. However, I remind myself I don't pay for gas, clothes to go into the office, and money on lunch, so I guess its a wash. Still wish I could find my dream chair though.
