Little Feat is associated with some of the best times of my life. I've even seen them in recent years and they're still wonderful.

I do love some new stuff though. Alabama Shakes, Civil Wars, Black Keys, all owe something to The Feat.

I'd like to reach through the radio and punch that woman to make her stop.

And don't tell me to turn it off. I only hear it when an Alabama Shake's fan blasts it through the car speakers.

I'm 46 and always on the lookout for a great new song. I love the old ones, too, but some of them I've probably heard about 3,752 times in my life.

I'm 47. My son, who is almost 30, listens to shit I listened to in high school while I try to convince him to listen to music from this century. Sometimes it works. He's a pretty big Gogol Bordello fan, now and he's starting to like some Diablo Swing Orchestra. His wife and I are constantly giving each other new music to listen to. He sits in the corner like a grumpy old man with my husband, the grumpy old piano player, reminiscing about the "good ol' days".
