3. I saw 'em 5 tours in a row in the 80's and 90's :) Twice for Disintegration ...

Did you watch their R&R Hall of Fame induction set?

They opened with Shake Dog Shake of all songs ... It rocked ass.

There's also a full YT vid of their 30th anniversary show for Disintegration, done in Australia last year. Amazing.

They haven't put out an album in awhile but they're def. still around, touring.

I saw them live in 1997 in Orlando. My GF at the time LOVED them and I was just lukewarm. She basically said I am going or else It ended up being one of the best shows I've seen.

Some hick on front row kind of ruined everyone's concert, though. After the first song Robert welcomed everyone and was telling a story when some asshole started yelling out about his accent. Robert said he won't talk anymore, and said nothing the rest of the show

I see so many bands fall apart that should be out making music. It may be arrogance, money or who knows what.

Van Halen comes to mind immediately. Eddie Van Halen to me is a fantastic player, but refuses to play. I don't get it!

We saw them on a 2015 tour. During soundcheck, Wolfgang, Eddie and Alex played 4 songs. Wolfgang played bass and sang the classics which sounded better than when DLR came out to perform.

10. Nice - They'd have been touring The Top at that time ...

Same tour as The Cure In Orange, one of my all-time favorite concert movies ...

The Top is pretty under-rated in my book. I think it's genius, and I raved above I LOVED that they opened the R&R HOF concert with Shake Dog Shake. I found out later they did it in tribute for Andy Anderson, the drummer on The Top album (the only one he played on ... and the one and only POC to ever be in The Cure) who had passed recently.

I'm very sure that was an amazing show.

My first time was Head On The Door tour, shortly thereafter.

Primary is awesome, and I actually prefer Faith overall to the much-vaunted Pornography album, but just by a smidge. I don't think it's BETTER, but I find it more listenable. Love that gloomy old shit ... 17 Seconds, Faith, Pornography ... played those constantly in College ... then Disintegration came out when I was a Junior and it was like all I listened to for 6 months.

I used to have this two-record set (vinyl) that was 17 Seconds on one record, and Faith on the other, like a package deal. Then I traded it in to buy 'em both on CD and FUCK I wish I hadn't done that.

It was this ... guess I could drop $59 to get it again, but ... it wouldn't be the same.

all the performances and the red carpet are on YouTube. Last years inductees were mostly British.... just an observation. This year T.Rex are being inducted!!!!

The entire live show was pretty great last year... I don't really like Def Leppard but even they were good. LOL

Actually just bought a new pair of tower speakers from someone on craigslist, dude just dropped 'em off like 30 mins ago. They're friggin 65 lbs a piece, I just got them positioned after considerable effort, listened to like 3 songs real quick at moderate volume, saw your post ... and then proceeded to give them their first serious workout in Casa Lebowski.

I just love they busted out with a first song with lines like "i'll tear your red hair by the roots and hold you blazing, hold you cherished in the dead electric light"

Yeah I know every word to that song ... scary.

12. Agree . I can remember walking into WaxTrax , an independent record store

in Denver when I was in high school in the the late 70's and seeing their imported single on display, "Boys Don't Cry". I bought it and have been a fan ever since.
