Very pregnant step-daughter called yesterday thanking me for putting in central A/C for them

She and her husband paid for the 2 ton system that I ordered from one of my suppliers, $1514.00 including tax, and I installed it. Finished the job early last week.

We are going thru a heat wave here with temps in the high 80's to low 90's and that's expected to last into next week.

Don't know where they live, but I was without a/c 1969 through 1971 in Alexandria, VA. My son currently lives in Fairfax, VA, and when I told him about Adventures Without Air Conditioning, he was stunned into silence. He clearly could not imagine.

Nor can I, really. It was brutal. So, I can thank you for your goodness in putting in central A/C for your step-daughter.

That was miserable. I'm sure your DIL is much more comfortable.
