Arrrgh! The fireworks are driving me, my doggos and kitteh, batty!

It will be quiet for a long while and then...BOOM! My deaf dog cannot hear it, but she knows her doggo sister is barking, so she figures she needs to bark as well. The cat springs from the bed and runs into the closet. I want this to stop! It's not even July yet, we still have two more hours of June.

In most towns it's illegal. It is also very inconsiderate. Laffy Kat Jul 2020 #3

don't like them either. The landlord has several animals here and it really sucks for them but also the wildlife up the canyon. I hate them too.

At least for now they are quiet. Once we hit tomorrow though, it will be game on.

The last couple years, our neighbors have been in competition with each other to see who can out do the other. They must spend at least a thousand dollars or more on fireworks.

It is just insane. My ducks hide on our porch under a table.

Especially right now when nerves are already raw. I also feel sorry for vets and other survivors who may have PTSD.
