(26,289 posts)WTF about that "method" makes it 'British' tea? The milk? And, yea - adding milk to hot water and THEN dropping in a tea bag is sacrilegious.
I used to work with someone who would drop a tea bag into a mug of hot water, and a second later take the bag out and throw it away. It barely had time to even tint the water. I asked her why she didn't just drink hot water.

(38,187 posts)I don't see how she is making tea with water that might have gotten lukewarm at best. The whole thing is just lazy and bound not to work from beginning to end.

(58,706 posts)but why would any self respecting human drink tea anyway?

(38,187 posts)I prefer coffee with hot chocolate mixed into it. Even better if it is iced coffee with chocolate mixed in. I wish they would make a coffee/chocolate milk shake or ice cream. If they ever do, buy stock in it. I'm all in. I will probably go broke buying it and indulging.

(23,741 posts)I guess she got creamed by Britons on her tea recipe, so she responded by lampooning the British way of tea making.

(25,551 posts)She joined on March 4th 2020 and has tweeted twice.
Both times it has been about tea!!
She only has 4 followers.
The first time, she tweeted about tang/cinnamon instant tea and now this. The tang/cinnamon tea is on epicurious and if epicurious tweets it, it probably would not get much attention, but when she creates a Tik Tok video of it, it becomes viral. The world is strange.

I wanna know how she got so much freaking attention? (No one notices my tweets..LOL)
