My city is obviously chock-full of Trump voters.

Trump won by less than 1% in my county in 2016.

Since the votes are tallied by counties in Ohio, I never knew how my particular city voted. I saw far more Trump yard signs, but hoped those people were just more open than Clinton voters about their support.

I tried to find vote results here, and I could only find the tallies for a mock election at the middle school. Clinton only won 35% of the votes there!

That's at a middle school, where I suspect many girls probably voted for Clinton even if their parents supported Trump!

Then I looked up similar mock elections at schools across the country, and Clinton did much better than Trump overall. She'd easily be the President based on the mock elections of children!

I bet this shit-hole is about 80% Trump supporters!

Drove around yesterday to do some errands, and saw NOBODY else wearing a mask in public! ZERO!

Edit:
The demographics in this city closely match the average for all of Ohio, by the way.
The police here have been fascists for as long as I've been here too. It's like they're all trained to be that way. (It has a reputation for it. I've told coworkers where I lived, and it was not uncommon for them to reply how the cops are all "major dicks" here. The first comments out of their mouths!)

Part of the county votes blue, but the majority votes red, every single time. My neighborhood was end of street to end of street Trump signs. When Amendment One was on the NC ballot it was 77 percent in my precinct that voted for it. Very few wear masks here, but the few who do only wear them over their mouths or they have them around their necks. I don't think they are very smart about following directions. Why wear them around their neck or only over their mouth?

I don't want healthcare workers to deal with it, but the virus might as well be a hoax here!

The people here act like it's business as usual, and the local news certainly isn't reporting any big spikes in cases.

It held steady at below 50 cases and only 2 deaths until the governor opened the state back up.

My curiosity was mostly aroused by the hundreds of people that I saw not wearing masks in public yesterday. (Convenience stores and other places.)

Seventy five percent republican. Mostly no masks. Already see Trump flags flying. Fox news watchers.

my house with a trump flag on a tall flag poll in the front yard. The neighbors I run into when walking the dog refer to it as the trumper home.

This is a very blue neighborhood with lots of engaged/community minded neighbors. I can’t wait until this new neighbor’s flag is surrounded by Biden signs this fall.

Usually, they either steal them or tear them up and leave the mess behind where I live.

even though I’ve only been to the garden center part of those stores. I suspect that if the masks weren’t required then few would be wearing them.

I feel like I am on the wrong planet sometimes and wish my planet would come get me and take me home. It's hard to describe the feeling to people in blue areas.
