(9,426 posts)and the beautiful animal photos. All the kittens are beautiful. The dove with her young ones, the green butterflies on the delicate flowers, the fawn in the grass. Nice break from reality on Sunday mornings, thank you.

(6,929 posts)My cousin who is a small animal vet posted a cat she was treating with acupuncture yesterday. I shared the woolly mammoth photo on her FB page. Thank you, thank you.
The others are wonderful as always, but that one was perfect for us.

(28,349 posts)The image is delicately beautiful.
Nature can be so very perfect.
The picture of the two Lady Bugs climbing the flower stem is another perfection of nature.
Thank you for our Sunday morning ritual. Boy, oh boy, we all look forward to Sunday mornings.

(28,349 posts)I'm thinking about having a print made to frame - which is something I've never thought of doing before.

(35,746 posts)I saved the two lady bugs for a wallpaper. The butterflies/flowers and the interplay of the white/black intrigued me.

(28,349 posts)My baby, Eddie, passed away a few years ago. One afternoon she layed down in my lap and fell 'asleep'. I was beside myself. I had to get my son to come get her. I was heartbroken. Shoot, my heart is aching right now thinking about my big little baby.

But what a transport to the Rainbow Bridge. I can totally understand your grief reaction. Mine would have been similar. I often run across the photo of her in your arms, and think what a beauty she was. I know she held a special place in your heart.
Yes, that's who you think it is. She's upstairs sleeping in her private "condo" right now, but loves to troop around the garden with me. She has a new friend, a garter snake, and they sit down at the end of the path in the sun together. I'm glad she's not hanging out with the groundhog anymore.
But being an older cat now, she spends more time indoors, which is just fine with us. The softest fur ever, and Jim and I always try to be the first for a morning snuggle with her when she hops onto the bed.
She had an incident with an ear infection that required long-term medication, but she's fine now. She is the "queen" of four cats and lets everyone know about it. I am so grateful that you let me have her; she is my longest running cat relationship. We will be best buds to the end.

(28,349 posts)I don't know if you remember, but the vet detected a hole in Eddie's heart when we took all the kitties in for their first visit. He didn't seem to think she'd live out her first year.
I am so very happy to learn her little sibling is still living the good life of loving her mom, and making friends.
Eddie had a good pampered life, who never plotted against me, unlike our Felix, whose mission is to innocently annoy the hell out of me. He's a lot of fun, loves to play, and makes us all laugh.
Three cheers for kitty-cats!

(28,394 posts)Wow, those green butterflies!
I love those sweet mourning doves. I think the crows got the eggs here. I saw the doves building their nest, then a big ugly crow was hanging around their tree.

(777 posts)Great pic of the quail - these have a rather maniacal-sounding call.
But if you had that damn feather dangling in front of your face all the time you'd be a little maniacal too.
Great collection as usual!
