(7,423 posts)It's not really RATT though, just Stephen Pearcy.
So the apartment has a Stephen Pearcy problem.

(28,264 posts)Que the somber piano chords, followed by the same "We know things are tough right now, but we're all in this together" bullshit. Geico's upstairs-clogging spot is such a nice change of pace.

(7,423 posts)I must have seen it a thousand times, but I pick up on something new and stimulating each and every time.

(18,402 posts)I love this commercial, every time it comes on. For itself and because its the incarnation of a vow I made some years ago. You see, we have a downstairs neighbor who has been the bane of our existence for years. She couldnt have quieter neighbors than us: two senior citizens who dont wear shoes inside 97% of the time. But god forbid 2 or 3 times a year I put on a pair of heels to go to a dressy event just before I leave the house andheaven forfendwalk once across the floor to get to the door. Ill get an email the next day complaining about the noise.
And when once every month or two (pre shelter in place) my granddaughters come for Sunday lunch or a holiday, shell come banging on the door screaming, and saying it sounds like elephants. Really? a joyous liittle 2 or 3-year-old running in the house for a few minutes?
These are but a few examples of many. I said to my husband years ago, when were ready to sell this place Im going to make sure we sell it to a family of Irish clog dancers, or maybe a flamenco troupe. I swear. And then this ad!

(6,930 posts)I like the Progressive one with Flo protecting the car too, but mostly Progressive seems to have jumped the shark on their ads, cannot stand the Jamie guy.

(24,006 posts)...this delightful, and wish the dancing part were longer. Sets my toes to tapping. Now we need some old-timey fiddle music.

(21,886 posts)were auditioning for this commercial were they asked... Can you eat a plate of spaghetti while clogging, or the one boy brushing his teeth. Doesn't look easy doing both. LOL
