What is it with people from other countries liking our president?

I am having the biggest fights, (and exasperation) at one of my cousins from Canada who is a Trump supporter.

He has never had to worry about health insurance. Canada has a tiny fraction of Covid cases we do.

He is going apeshit over the recent assault weapons ban.

And he just posted some stupid woman doctor from Dallas talking about how great Hydroxychloroquine is and how her patients get better in 1 day! from Covid! And when she mentioned Obamacare the crowd booed.

I told him that he had better filter me out to not receive any more pro-Trump bullshit on my page. The next thing I'm going to do is block him.

Do they really not know what it is like here?

ineptness. However, he isn't a gun humper, so that is probably a big difference.

I just saw an article about foreigners laughing at us for what Trump has been doing and saying. I think most are marking the calendar until he is gone. They suffer because of him, as well.

Hopefully, your cousin is just different.

4. He's not. I just unfriended him. I told him to stop sending these posts to my page.

And you can do that. You can expressly not include people in you sharing. But he just told me to ignore it and I can't. So I unfriended him. It's funny because the same happened with his sister who is a big old fake Christian and had a need to attack, "Homos" as she called them

God, my DNA is filled with crazy.

by any stretch. Most Canadians despise him and I know no-one personally who feels any differently.

voters here as well. I have one friend that is pretty middle of the road on every issue, but since all he cares about is his gun rights he is a very pro-tRump voter. He's bought into the NRA propaganda for years.

Pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, etc. but votes Republican because of their stance on guns and his fear of an invasion/attack by North Korea.

8. Really? I remember seeing some guy

on 90 day finace' blubbering on about trump but he was black and that made no sense. But this guy thought that all he had to do was come to America and he would be some big business success story. He never ended up here because they broke up and I think he was very upset because he really just wanted to come to this country.

He's as nice as you could want a co-worker to be but he supports tRump because he is a republican and wants abortion to end. I don't know if he a had a different choice in the repub primary but once it was tRump he was onboard.

I know abortion is a big issue for the RW, but I always say; who cares for the child once it's born? Certainly not Trump and his lackey Republicans. Even yesterday when talking about opening schools, Trump said something like , "Sure kids may die but they die anyway from other things and we don't close schools because of it. "Or the Elderly, "So what if some old people die, they were going to die anyway".

Quotes are not verbatim, but contain the essence of his remarks.

12. I even have an atheist republican friend

who's main issue is abortion. His parents were missionaries and he grew up in south america and nearly every political opinion he has mirrors the fundamentalist views of the church I grew up in (his his folks were missionaries for). He's very libertarian and doesn't praise tRump daily (he says tRump was very last in his primary rankings) but he still supports him because he thinks abortion is murdering children. I told him that was a religious opinion, not a medical one but he doesn't see it.

And when I say friend, I mean it - he is also a co-worker but we are friends outside of work - he is the hardest working person I know on this planet and routinely gives up chunks of his time to to help other people out. He came over to my old house one day to dig out my sump pump when I wasn't even there to help but he knew it needed to be done. Before covid we ate lunch together every week day and more than a few times on weekends. We just avoid political stuff and I can do it because I know he is absolutely not a racist tRump humper and he's pretty sure I'm not a commie. (lol)
