3 years after suffering a stroke, bed ridden but mentally unchanged. I visited her every time I flew from Florida to Chicago to visit my Mom.

During the fourth or fifth visit after 2+ years I was straightening up her little private room and I noticed a dish on the top shelf of her closet. I pulled it down and it was an old casserole dish. I asked my Aunt why she chose to have this old beat up dish with her now. She proceeded to explain that my deceased uncle, her husband, complained about her casseroles his entire life. So she thought it was the perfect place to keep his ashes until she passed.
