Katy Shufon has been home from her job because of the coronavirus outbreak, so shes had more time to post videos of her cat, Meeko.
The Hoboken resident sometimes dabbles in social media. On Thursday, however, she hit the Twitter jackpot.
In the last day, a clip she posted of Meeko doing something he always does wear her slipper has drawn more than one million views.
Sometimes my cat walks around with my slipper like hes wearing it, she tweeted.
In the video, Meeko struts around wearing one (1) slipper on his front left paw. As the cat casually strolls through Shufons home, the slipper lands with a slap on the hardwood floor for each step Meeko takes.
To a captive audience in which people seize upon any chance to laugh, Meeko has been quite the quarantine pick-me-up.

(21,611 posts)cats imitate the behavior of people they are close to. When my 4 year old cat naps on my bed when I'm not in it', she always curls up her body near the pillow I use, with her head ON the pillow, same as I do.
When she was just 5 months old, I slipped my feet out of my sandals while reading at the table after eating. Kitty ran up to the sandals and plunged her paws into them. Her facial expressuon and body language were full of playful mischief, as if she knew how funny it looked for her tiny paws to be in my big sandals. She looked up at me for my reaction. She seemed quite proud of herself for "taking possession" of the shoes.

(21,611 posts)catch it on video. She did so many goofy and amusing things as a kitten.
My toilet is right next to the bathroom sink and I keep the toilet seat cover down to keep her paws out of the toilet bowl. When I brushed my teeth, she stood on the toilet seat, front paws on the sink counter, and plunged her face into mine when I bent down to rinse and spit. She wanted to see what I was doing.
I kept my toothbrush in an upright holder on the sink counter top.
Later, when passing by the open bathroom door, I saw the cat clamp her mouth around the toothbrush bristles, either in imitation of me, or because she wanted to taste whatever I had put into my mouth. After replacing the brush with a new one, I moved the holder inside the medicine cabinet.

(22,573 posts)cats are funny!!
I remember one time I was sick & I was so sick that I didn't want to get out of bed. At the time I had 2 cats & they played with each other for most of the day! They provided some great entertainment & I didn't need to do anything but enjoy the show!
