my life really has not changed much except working from home exclusively
it is distressing, however, realizing how many people are really hurting

I'd never heard it before, but I listen once or twice a year.

You have me in tears -
Harker
(14,033 posts)She asked me to give her a little time to meditate, after which I held her tight for the last sixteen hours of her life.
She never spoke again, and I listened to and felt her as she wound down like a pocket watch.
She died as she lived - at home with me, on her own terms and with understanding and acceptance... with grace, dignity, and tremendous beauty.
I can face my tomorrows like a natural man largely because of the example she set.

(17,135 posts)Cellar and read it- I stayed up 'till 4 AM, and then picked it up again the next day. One of the advantages of being confined to home: Plenty of reading time!
So - Is Time Cellar a play on words of the Spencer Davis Group's song Time Seller?
DFW
(54,436 posts)It was a compromise title, as it was originally supposed to be called "Wine All Mine."
Long Lost Salamander was something that was supposed to be elaborated on, but got postponed for 38 years (!!)).
The intended version can be heard on a Jango site. Go to "Freedom Toast Songs" and scroll down to "Canyonlands--Salamander 2.0" There is some other fun stuff on there, too (you'll like "School Days" ).
As for The Time Cellar, hope you liked meeting Robert, Juanita, Anne and Miguel!

(14,033 posts)Clearly, it's our individuality that makes us so delightfully well-rounded as a group.
I love it here, and not a day goes by without me being thankful for my fellow DUers.
I don't say "thank you" nearly enough.
