Post your Mood music for the pandemic

Everyone's Gone to the Moon
Nina Simone

Streets full of people, all alone
Roads full of houses, never home
A church full of singing, out of tune
Everyone's gone to the moon

Eyes full of sorrow, never wet
Hands full of money, all in debt
Sun coming out in the middle of June
Everyone's gone to the moon

You see a long time ago, life had begun
Everyone went to the sun
Parks full of motors, painted green
Mouths full of chocolate-covered cream

Arms that can only lift a spoon
You see everyone's gone, everybody's gone
Everyone's gone to the moon
Everyone's gone to the moon

What will happen now?
Everyone's gone to the moon
There's nobody left
Everyone's gone to the moon

Welcome to my nightmare
I think you're gonna like it
I think you're gonna feel like you belong
A nocturnal vacation
Unnecessary sedation
You want to feel at home 'cause you belong
Welcome to my nightmare
Welcome to my breakdown
I hope I didn't scare you
That's just the way we are when we come down
We sweat and laugh and scream here
'cause life is just a dream here
You know inside you feel right at home here
Welcome to my breakdown
Whoa
You're welcome to my nightmare
Yeah
Welcome to my nightmare
I think…

Alice Cooper.

Bet y’all never expected K-Pop to make the bid to become the soundtrack for the next revolution. I did, and here it is:

https://m.

English Lyrics

Drop it low
The future is still covered by a veil
Can’t see it yet

We live in violent times
This generation has withered
But it has been passed down to us
The result of closing our eyes,
Shutting our mouths
And throwing away our courage at evil
Just as you’re seeing,
Just as you predicted
Things have been destroyed on this land
So we must start again slowly

I won’t look for miracles anymore
Oracles that are written on sand
Just one sigh can destroy everything
It’s already broken down, faith shakes

The word justice
Is only a word from the textbooks
The majority is dancing on the offbeat
When will the truth come again?
When will you look for me?

I can’t explain hard this feeling
Feels like I’m floating without gravity
If the bleak future is my inheritance
I’ll break it apart and start again

If you’re dreaming of a resurrection
If you’re looking for chances
With a nice mask on, no
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low

The stopped clock will go on its way
Just watch, I’ll create a new world
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low

Don’t turn away anymore, it’s critical
Cuz it’ll become a poisonous indulgence
Even the dry land that rejection creates
Even this reality
Without a single shadow
For me to rest under

I won’t, can’t fight this feeling
Regretting that I had to do that back then
Like a river flowing through a door
That was once shut
I’m finding my place

If you’re dreaming of a resurrection
If you’re looking for chances
With a nice mask on, no
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low

The stopped clock will go on its way
Just watch, I’ll create a new world
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low

It’s a more painful reality
But once you climb over this mountain
You’ll reach it some day
Eveyone’s ocean where you can be happy

It started with candles
Emotion is not controllable, you don’t!
Don’t stop going towards your future
Don’t go on a dangerous path
If you lose this chance
Now it’s too hard to handle
My first action to change the future is
My attitude

If you’re dreaming of a resurrection
If you’re looking for chances
With a nice mask on, no
(See your attitude)
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low

The stopped clock will go on its way
Just watch, I’ll create a new world
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
(Into the grave)

Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
Now stop, drop it low
Please stop, drop it low
Now stop

And it's appropriate in a shitstorm

That amazing grace
Sort of passed you by
You wake up every day
And you start to cry
Yeah, you want to die
But you just can't quit
Let me break it on down:
It's the fucked up shit

14. Don't tell the band- Widespread Panic

As a boy I had a gig with a travelin' show
Way back in '63
We did a little pickin' for the soldier boys
Of General Bobby Lee
But when we got to Pennsylvania,
I knew there'd be a change
We caught up with some boys from Georgia
And I heard one of them say

Don't tell the band
The devil's on his way
Don't tell the band
Just let the music play

Later on I had a job pouring gin and rum
On the grand queen of the sea
We set out on our first transatlantic voyage
Headed for New York City
But when I felt that lady shudder
I knew there'd be a change
I saw the captain grab the first mate
And I thought I heard him say

Don't tell the band
The devil's on his way
Don't tell the band
Just let the music play
Just let the music play

In the Restaurant at the End of the Universe
In the year 3010
I was listenin' to the Good Old Interstellar Boys
Playin' "Let It Be" again
But when I heard the trumpet sounding
I knew there'd be a change
A prophet wearin' robes appeared before us
And he looked at me and said

Don't tell the band
The devil's on his way
Don't tell the band
Just let the music play
Don't tell the band
The devil's on his way
Don't tell the band
Just let the music play
Just let the music play
Just let the music play

26. You are so beautiful.

I'm a morbid type, and thinking this could actually kill me, as I am high risk, should I get it, it gives my some time to reflect on how much I love my wife, and how fortunate to have been with her all these years. The very last thought I want to have in my life is of her because she made my life worth living.

I knew her for quite some time before we became lovers, and spent some of that time, a lot of that time, longing for more than just a friendship, although a wonderful friendship it was.

Since the one thing I miss right now is the privilege of kissing her, I'm hoping that should I live - and there's a high probability I will - that next kiss will come after wanting to kiss her as much as I did before she was open to the idea of being kissed by me.

She was, is, and always will be so beautiful to me.

The bright side of all of this is being around my family.

27. I'll meet you...

Apr 2020

Where the road is dark and the seed is sowed
Where the gun is cocked and the bullet's cold
Where the miles are marked in the blood and gold
I'll meet you further on up the road

Got on my dead man's suit and my smilin' skull ring
My lucky graveyard boots and song to sing
I got a song to sing, keep me out of the cold
And I'll meet you further on up the road.

Further on up the road
Further on up the road
Where the way dark and the night is cold
One sunny mornin' we'll rise I know
And I'll meet you further on up the road.

Now I been out in the desert, just doin' my time
Searchin' through the dust, lookin' for a sign
If there's a light up ahead well brother I don't know
But I got this fever burnin' in my soul
So let's take the good times as they go
And I'll meet you further on up the road

Further on up the road
Further on up the road
Further on up the road
Further on up the road

One sunny mornin' we'll rise I know
And I'll meet you further on up the road
One sunny mornin' we'll rise I know
And I'll meet you further on up the road.
