The Pima County (Az) fiduciary called me today.

They have financial control over my older brother's "incarceration"
at a dementia ward in Tucson. He is now in isolation, suspected of CV.
Poor guy. When I last visited some months ago, he was so drugged up
his jaw was slack and he shuffled his feet. This guy with a Masters in History and
another in Business can't read anymore and even if I could get there, I couldn't
see him.
The fiduciary said they have a small surplus of his SS and retirement funds
to help pay for his funeral.

What an awful situation for your brother, and you too.

And they want to talk about his funeral? Weird.

My cherished grandmother (Mom's Mother) had dementia and died of a aneurism.

But by the time she died she had no idea who she was.
