Recently, his paintings were exhibited at the museum of fine arts in Richmond, VA. my wife and I are members so we went there ahead of the public opening. It was amazing.

Yep, those Hopper paintings do seem like they are good portrayals of life in the coronavirus age.

I had never seen the one of the woman smoking out the window.
An art critic once pointed out that even when Hopper has more than one person in a painting, they rarely interact directly, or even look at each other.
