help maintain a bit of social contact:
1. My daughter:
So, what I'm considering doing is driving over to my daughter's house and we can have a nice face-to-face chat with them (at a safe distance) from their front porch and enjoy the outdoors, too.
2. A good friend:
I'm going to talk to him about us meeting somewhere in a park, each bringing our own brown bag from home and we can sit at a safe distance and chat a while.
3. Some others in my life:

Our new daily schedule:
Breakfast
Walk
lunch
Walk
Dinner
Walk.

(14,496 posts)I don't have a walking partner like you however, and that makes it harder to be motivated.
My motivation now for exercising is simply to survive a case of COVID-19 for my kids by having a stronger respiratory system.

(17,340 posts)We walk a couple times a week for an hour...one on each side of the street. We just speak louder or dont speak as much but still feel the comfort of friendship.

I'm waiting for it to get a bit warmer where I am, and then a friend and I will go on picnics.
