If I saw them at the grocery store, I'd look in their cart and swear to myself not to buy whatever they eat.

Get two regular large packs of Mountain Dews, & two diet large packs of Mountain Dews.

Your bathroom scale would be ever so grateful & enthused.

Incidentally, as a two fer, you might not be so anxious at the cash register if you cut down on the intake of sugar just a tad.

I can't make it all out, but sounds to me like they shopped earlier and came back in for soda. Nothing to suggest whether the previous cart was full of more soda or super-healthy greens and fruits and lean proteins or whatever.

Also sounds like they were given bad information about store policies, which would get most people upset.

But it wouldn't be a story if they were skinny, would it?

They're rude and mountain dew if heavily caffeinated. Their body shape was not the issue.

nothing to suggest anything about their caffeine levels at the moment when they're obviously not drinking it just then.

nor is there anything to suggest that maybe they were in fact given incorrect information about story policy, which is something that would annoy anyone, caffeinated or otherwise.

as for rude, maybe i'm a bit jaded, but i've seen *waaaay* worse that that.

also, "*they're* rude" is a bit of a giveaway. *he* might have been rude, but was *she* rude?

that said, whatever your intent, there's no longer any positive merit to this thread.

so imbeciles like this can come in to get their Mountain Dew. I thank every cashier I come in contact with.

And yes, before someone says, they at least have a job to go to, I know that. But it doesn't diminish the fact they're putting their health and the health of their families in jeopardy.
