My pregnant daughter will be induced tomorrow.

She's a tad over 9 months and they decided to do it now. Might be to make way
for CV patients. I don't know that. She's healthy, happy and in Richmond, Va.
She's my first born, this baby girl (Elise) will be her first born. I have two
grandkids from my step-son.
She works for the Fed in Richmond, a math whiz (where'd that come from?)
and gets three months maternity leave. Hubby also has three months off.
I'm stoked!

Very exciting! Good luck to her. GreenPartyVoter Mar 2020 #1
I told her not to be nervous, and that inducement means little labor (I think). panader0 Mar 2020 #3
Well, as long as they don't put her on a pitocin drip. That's GreenPartyVoter Mar 2020 #5

just one long contraction. Second kid they just broke my water, so much more bearable, at least until transition.

They'll be fine. Is hubby her coach? Things went much better for me when mine was actively involved.

May all go well. What a story Elise's mom will have to tell her about her arrival!

Grandchildren are the dividends paid for raising kids. It's well worth the investment.

At least, the new arrival will arrive battle tested!

My first grandchild showed up 2 years ago, and number two is due in 2 months. Our daughter has top medical care where she is, so at least that is one thing we do NOT have to worry about.

My first Grandchild. Nolan Michael Fernandez.

It's better than they said it would be. Unfortunately I live in Connecticut and my daughter and son-in-law live in Georgia.

I hope you get to see your daughter and grandchild more often. I see pictures every day and video clips. I want to fly to Georgia but I can't right now.

Congratulations.
