Geesh. A really good one!

Good thing that they never sold themselves out to the likes of GLAD Reynolds Wrap/Saran Wrap or anything else...like some do.

You know how the Madison Avenues' "strategies" operate - interject that first, initial feeling(s) when listening to the tune and then all of a sudden, morph it into some kind of commercial prospect and hope to hell that that - particular sentiment not only drips..but does indeed carry over - right? Like, no questions asked.

Pushing sentimental buttons...as it were ~

Hence, increased sales as a result.

For some, maybe. For most, I reckon - not so much.

Nope.

Sorry.

No can do.

...and I'm glad about that.

Glad?

Yep.

Glad all over ~ ~ ~ ~

You betcha.

Glad all over.....

To me, the melody asks a question and then turns right around and answers it...while never *skipping a beat.*

Perhaps a real pre-cursor to punk. In essence. In its purely stark shade and/or stage.

I dunno. I think you are on to something here, to be honest...though I can't quite place my finger on it ~ ~ ~

For me, what comes to mind...is this particular (though not so original) driving, hard beat by Guns & Roses:

Do they share things/timing in beat which I kind of think that you were originally alluding to, am I right? Yes? No? You be the judge.

No matter really because ya know what? It's all good...and you can take that to the bank, my loyal friend.

I still remember him from back then. He still has the same effect on me. What a hot cutie. I mean, is he sexy or what? That smile, that manly stance.

I'll try to calm down, now.
