I'll throw all my socks on one of my two cats. They seem to like it, or it's just their natural feline apathy shining through.

over her. I can pull up the sheet and quilt, smooth them out, put the shams in place, and she will remain underneath it all. All part of the bed-making game. First, helping me chase down the wrinkles on the bottom sheet. Then chasing the uppper sheet before getting tucked into it. Then hide and seek when I peak underneath at her in order to remove her.

But, otherwise, she has a very strong sense of her own physical space and dignity. Would NEVER tolerate items stacked on top of her. After knocking them off, she would slap the person who stacked them, just to make her point.

he gets under the top sheet, flips over on his back and sticks all four legs straight up in the air, thereby making himself a tent. He likes to attack and kill the top sheet also. It is his favorite thing without question

bedsheets that attracts cats. I have had others that liked to chase down wrinkles as I smoothed them out. The current cat is the only one that likes having the bed made over her and then moving out of reach when I try to get her out.

The tent is a clever invention.

Such quirky creatures, aren't they?

I thought it was a lot of fun - she didn't - but I did it anyway. (I used all of her soft toys - that she kept in a single pile)
