(51,593 posts)since I was a teenager. This video shows why....also they get to play, float, eat seafood, few enemies, family and friends to hang with, etc.
About 5 years ago I decided I no longer wanted to reincarnated at all due to Climate Change. No species is safe from that.

(12,382 posts)Guy was into birding so I was asked if I wanted to take him on a birding safari.
Sure.
So we get into the car and this guy's accent is really heavy. I can understand every third sentence or so. ( I gotta agree with Trump on this. If you can't speak English, you shouldn't be allowed in the country.)
Anyways, we're on our way to Forsythe Preserve which is about 10 miles north of Atlantic City.
Dave: "Do they have outures there?" Me:' What?" (rinse and repeat a couple of times.)
Me: " Spell it."
Dave: "Otte--- Me: " Oh, Otters." Dave: "Yes, outures."
Me: " In 20 years of going there, I've never seen any. Mink, muskrat, snakes but I've never seen an otter."
20 minutes later, we are at the preserve and boarding the tourist tram for a guided tour of the tidal estuary.
Dave: (To the tour guide) "Do you have outures here?" A repeat of the above scenario so I don't have to type it again.
Tour guide: " I've guided here for 15 years and have never seen any. How 'bout you? (To the driver.) She hasn't seen any either but a couple of people said they have seen one or two over the years.
Well, damn. 5 minutes into the tour, an otter crosses the road.
