I am at home recovering from the state convention.

I came home last night and just crashed.

It was fun.

It was fun not to be a delegate, just show up and do what I want.

and her mother grew up with Judy. So, they were lifelong friends, and her daughter (Venus) talks of some of the stories both of them told

I would have liked to have gotten involved in the convention. I just didn't learn about it soon enough. Glad you had fun. Did you show anyone from out of town around some? There was a thread about places to visit in Houston in the Texas group.

6. I almost forgot about the convention being in town this year.

You don't need to be a delegate to go, just show up.

We had a meet up on Thursday night at The Grove, near the convention center.

I meet some other people I knew just walking around.

I had a blast, needed the time off.

We should do a Houston area meetup somewhere, it was fun.

Didn't think the convention was going to end, it lasted until 7, should have ened at 5.
