If its not one thing its another...

Last edited Sun Feb 2, 2020, 02:49 PM - Edit history (1)

I hired this Hungarian immigrant to help me with my apartment. Apparently He has been stealing my stuff on the side. I could change the locks, but he knows how to jimmy the door so he can get in no matter what lock I use. I really need a new door but my land lady is more of a slum lord than landlady cause she won't do it.. I called this guy, of course I reached a voice mail and told him he was fired. I told him if he ever breaks into my place again, I will call the Police.

At first he was throwing stuff away but than, now he is stealing stuff.. things go missing and I can't find them. He is obviously stealing things.. so I fired him. He also happens to be the same guy who does maintenance on the place... I won't trust him again!

Placing trust in people & having them show they cannot be trusted.

But here’s a true funny story:
Next door neighbor is police captain. Always hires shifty people for work around his house. Going for the cheap.
House broken into. Stuff stolen. Came through back door of garage, alarm didn’t go off, dog didn’t bark. They didn’t know who.
Told my wife. “His hired workers. Knew where stuff was, knew how to turn off alarm, leave door unlocked, the dog knew them hence no barking”
I feel safer,,,

The landlord won't pay for it, so I am going to take it out of my own pocket. I am tired of being ripped off!
