Who is more Rock n Roll than Motörhead? More influential than Priest? More sonically intense than Soundgarden?

Disappointing choices as usual.

The effect of NIN on 90's Industrial Rock was total, IMO.

If someone was not selected, they either didn’t win the fans vote or the selection crew thought other artists were more deserving.

Whitney Houston isn’t rock n roll by any standard. Biggie wasn’t around long enough to be included over bands who played for forty or fifty years and spawned entire genres. I’m just tired of Hard Rock and Metal being disrespected by this clown committee. Out of hundreds of bands, there are only two Metal bands in the hall and that’s simply ridiculous when you’re putting in dance and pop artists in there. They should just call it the music hall of fame.

At this point one would have to be incredibly naive to be surprised by this nonsense and I’m not. But it does irritate me year after year.

What the heck?

I'm sorry but it seems like the voting has become a popularity/pop music icon award than it is about rock and roll.

Bad Brains has been eligible since like 2008 and still aren't in, Warren isn't in...ugh, I could go on a rant about so many others but I won't. I do the same with the Country Music Hall of Fame though. It's a damn tragedy that Jerry Lee Lewis has never been inducted there and likely never will because of Music Row politics.
