She is always amused by me typing one handed, because the other hand is petting her.

then there is the 5th one: Named Elliot Ness due to being quite untouchable. then we found out he was a she, so now she is Ellie. Still does NOT like to be touched. She came to us with our foster litter but she will not socialize enough to be adoptable. So I think she is here to stay with us.

However, she is madly in love with one of our senior cats, it is as if he is her support animal. We find them all cuddled up together often.

I currently don't have a cat (doing too much traveling to be responsible) but someday, someday.

A while back I had a cat who was aging, and toward the end of her life she stopped purring. It was weird and disconcerting. She'd still sit on my lap, let me pet her, but didn't purr. Quite bizarre. Then, about two weeks before the end, she started purring again. Our vet had no explanation, said he'd never seen anything quite like that.

and listening to them purr you to sleep. I've had insomnia every since by last feline bed-buddy died. I've often put on a YouTube video of kitty purring to help me sleep. I miss my kitties.
