I'm pretty sure it might have been on Seinfeld but I can't find it - it went like this:

"I've never made a date with someone (not necessarily romantic) that I didn't hope they called up and cancelled."

I know there was one about phone calls - that Jerry always hoped when he called someone that they didn't answer but the former was about social get togethers.

I do that all the time - 'glad to agree to do something but the closer it gets - I hope they opt out. My brother used to feel the same way - maybe it runs in our family but then maybe its more widespread, too?

I am an introvert and thrive on my time at home with fellow introvert hubby, 2 dogs, and too many craft projects that I keep juggling.
