After falling asleep watching movies on TCM I later awoke to a movie playing a song I had not heard in years, but quickly fell asleep again.
It had to have been Simon and Garfunkel, but could be mistaken in my fog of sleep. It is somewhat of a childish ditty. Not the regulars such as Scarborough Fair or Sound Of Silence. It reminds me of Yellow Submarine in a way! I hate saying that but that is the best I can do
I have searched their discography, but none of those titles rings a bell.

On edit: Wonder what movie that was ?
Looking on wiki, it may have been the movie Shampoo?

(7,432 posts)That wasn't the only song from Simon and Garfunkel in that movie. Mrs. Robinson was another.

(34,136 posts)Using Advanced Search on IMDB.com I find these movies linked with that song:
Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas (2006)
Sicko (2007)
Monterey Pop (1968)
Brown Eyed Girl (2013)
The Short Game (2013)
Then there are some TV episodes, but you said a movie.

Like I say above, I think it was the film "Shampoo" with Warren Beatty. I sleep like a rock! Surprised I woke up at all, but usually do momentarily if a catchy tune is on
