But, oh, gosh, I haven't seen any of them myself.

Which means, if I post my top five movies they will absolutely be hampered by my not having seen various other films.

And trust me, this is not a criticism of your choices, just my acknowledgement of how limited my viewing has been.

I will say that I loved "The Art of Racing in the Rain". I'd read the book several years ago and loved it. The movie is a wonderful adaptation.

I also recently saw and liked "The Good Liar". In this case I read the book after the movie. Both are good. For me, in the end the movie is more satisfying.

Again, thank you for posting.

Haven't seen Booksmart yet. Hustlers was just okay. I'd round out my top 5 with Marriage Story and Parasite. Honorable mentions for The Irishman, Dark Waters, Judy and Us.

The best of 2020 movies:
Trump Exposed as Russian spy - surprise?! Not.
Trump Exiled to Siberia - naked & afraid.
Trump eaten by wolves 🐺, then spit out. A Disney special.
The Jarvanka Story - traitors behind bars.
Moscow Mitch & Leningrad Lindsey together in Hell.

Best thing Tarantino's ever done.

That said, I think you have to be around my advanced age to really appreciate it completely. I was 19 in 1969, and the details from that era that Tarantino came up with are absolutely phenomenal. The few seconds of a tuxedoed Robert Goulet on B&W TV, singing "MacArthur Park"? Still cracks me up, just thinking about it. And that brilliant happy-but-sad ending.....

I liked the reworking of the Manson story line but found Dicaprio annoying. I would not have minded it if the had reduced his part. I liked Brad Pitt’s performance.
