One of the things I hate about getting old (70) is that I'm still excitable but more slow-witted.

I had to run to the bank to make a withdrawl at the automatic teller since I forgot to get the cash that is my Son's Christmas present. (every year)

It's been raining ever since afternoon and still raining when I went out around 7pm. Almost no traffic.

So no big, right? I did my thing with the machine, the amount it gave me was what I'd asked for so
I didn't look at the receipt. When I got home I finally noticed that the receipt showed I'd withdrawn
100 bucks more than I got. I was outraged, drove back to the bank to see if there was any money left in the withdrawl slot. Of course not.

Then I looked at the receipt again. The last 4 digits of the account number shown were not the same as my account! So I went online to check my balance and it showed my correct withdrawl amount so I'm happy. HO HO HO Merry Christmas everyone. If I'd been thinking I coulda noticed the teller machine's error right away. But better late than never, right? At least I got out of the house and now I get to go to the bank I used for the withdrawl (not my bank) and ask them what's going on. I love it!

I hope everyone's Christmas Eve was less eventful than mine!

150 minutes of aerobic exercise during the week. Ever since I began that routine (I will be 80 in a couple of months) I feel as well as I did at age 50. Reaching 100 is looking doable. Right now knock on wood I have zero health issues. Have not seen inside of hospital since I had gall bladder surgery 30 years ago.

I'll be 70 this year (June) and I feel just fine. I go to the gym three times a week and meditate daily. I keep my mind sharp trading the futures and stock markets everyday. I have no health issues and am not on any meds. The only difference I feel now verses when I was 50 is my stamina has fallen just a bit when I work out or doing heavy physical work at home. Life is good when you stay active!
