(26,268 posts)My mom always served it up on the day we decorated the tree and always topped it with freshly grated nutmeg. Just a whiff of nutmeg aroma triggers very lovely memories.
I have a small carton of it, in my refrigerator, and will be offering it to tonight's dinner guests. Who knows - maybe someone will change their opinion.
I've never tried it with Kahlua but I've got a bottle, so that will change, today. It might help reinforce me for the chaos ahead.

Add the eggnog. Gently stir.
Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
Drink.
Repeat often.
Breakfast of champions!
