It's much simpler for me and frankly I don't give a shit if some snowflake might be triggered by a greeting.

Old habits die hard. Christmas no longer has a significant religious meaning, so who gives a shit?
Would be far more accurate to say.....
"Merry rampant cut-throat consumerism day", or
"Happy jack up your family debt season" or...
"Best of feed the starving Chinese workers day to you"........

Nothing says 'goodwill toward men' like a spit-laden, angry holiday greeting forced on you by some Fox News War on Xmas martyr.
