I was expecting a picture of the Christmas stuff in the stores. The aisles at the store where I shop were filled with Christmas merchandise. They will probably stock it tonight.

I remember several years ago, a good friend and I flew to Houston for a conference that was being held during the first week of December. We had a free day after it ended and before our return flight so we rented a car and drove to Galveston. When we got there and it was sunny and around 60F, balmy for us, but apparently it was terribly cold for Texans. As we sat on the beach in shirt sleeves, folks passed us, bundled up in sweatshirts, scarves, mittens, and wool hats. We looked at each other and said, in unison, "Wimps."

First winter here we were laughing how everyone was bundled up in Dec and Jan while we were still wearing shorts. It's all what you get used to.
