After 4 days of power outage here in CA, I can come out of the dark and catch up on the news.

We are south of the Kincade fire in Sonoma County and are slowly starting to resume normal operations. We weren't under mandatory evacuation but it was stressful waiting to hear if there was any change for the worse. It has been quite an experience and if nothing else, I realize how many conveniences I take for granted.

and I also realized how much I take for granted. We had no electricity or water. Eerie having total darkness. Businesses all shut down.

before I posted. Having no water makes you realize just how much we use on a regular basis.

I hope you get your power back!!

I feel for all of you. I always think no water is the worst. But no electricity is really bad, too. Stay safe!

I know the stress of a oncoming hurricane, but I would have to imagine a ferocious fire bearing down on your community must just be 100 times worse. Stay safe.
