2. That's one of the best ones yet

My office is at home, and my dog hangs around in it most of the time. My cat has a cabana I made from a shoebox to keep him from sitting directly in front of me or on my papers.

I've seen several good articles about the benefits of having dog-friendly workplaces. From improved morale, to making it possible for some people to have a pet who might not be able to leave it at home all day.

3. The city of El Cajon just bought a dog for its main fire station, to help with stress

that firefighters have. There is a high rate of suicide among firefighters' ranks in recent years.

I have two dogs and two cats at my home office. It is impossible to feel depressed when you're petting a dog or have a purring cat. My work team loves the animals too, when they come here a couple of days a week.
