so we still have one foster kitten left

he is so skittish and does NOT like to be touched (except by one of our senior cats, apparently he feels safe when he is near CatZilla) At least he isn't spending his entire day under the sofa any more

So we were talking about him and one of us said "wish he were not so untouchable"...and then we looked at each other and said "Elliot Ness"

So now that is his name.

He warmed up to me, and is very loving, but hides if anyone visits. If I close the bedroom door, he howls until I open the door so that he can get to his safe place under the bed.

Gracie had been living in a barn, and a kindly woman had been feeding her. One day the woman noticed that Gracie was pregnant.

She got some help trapping Gracie and they took the cat to where she could have her kittens. The kittens were adopted out, and Gracie was spayed. She stayed at the no-kill shelter. No one wanted her because she wasn't friendly.

My sister took her in.

She still keeps her distance, but she's warm and she's fed and she's loved--and she doesn't have to spend the rest of her life in the shelter.

Hooray for Sis!
