OMG. Ashley Home Furniture in Lansing MI has broken out their Christmas ads on TV

Not to mention Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel has started showing Christmas movies 24/7 until New Year's Day. Can't they wait until after Halloween?

The owner told me that they absolutely had to get the orders in for Christmas deliveries before Thanksgiving IIRC as the lag time required that, so it makes some degree of sense that Christmas ads for furniture would be starting to air now.

As to the Hallmark Channel, yeah they should wait at least a few more days, but it really is just the same movie with different settings and actors.

But I get bothered by Christmas Creep before Veterans Day.

Christmas pretty much has it's own month already. It doesn't need another month.

I'm old now and as a child I don't remember any of this happening until AFTER Thanksgiving.

I will admit I bought my Christmas cards. And they've been sitting on the dining room table ever since. I thought I might get a really early start this year. Hahaha!
