(6,856 posts)Dolly never gave up the rights to her song, even when Elvis begged for the song rights. She owns all of her songs. She made a killing with Whitneys version. Employs tons of people at Dollywood. Gives free books to children.
BTW love both versions. Even without the back story, I would still love that song.
