My current favorite is Hell's Bells.

(11,870 posts)It starts slow and quiet and builds to an empowering crescendo. I often wake to this.

(102,297 posts)or the Mamas the Papas version.
That's sort of abrupt, though and I often go with something a little less energized on a first alarm like maybe Michael McDonald doing a Motown selection (e.g., Ain't no Mountain High Enough) and maybe go with a more energized song on a second alarm.
Frankly, I read the other thread about the worst songs to wake up to and with only a few exceptions, heavens I'd not want to listen to them at any time. Uggh.

(25,383 posts)Do The Rave Stomp
But I have others:
Party All Night
Get Off - Foxy
Hooked on Can Can
How Many More Times - Led Zeppelin
Oldest on my list:
I think Rave Stomp wins on my list!!!
Hooked on Can Can comes second. Party All Night and Get Off are tied at third. Sing Sing Sing fourth. How Many More Times fifth...(In terms of wake up value for me...I just did a test in my house and they get me moving in this order)
All wake-up music must be caffeinated! The more the better!!
