SNL's Chickham's Apple Farm actually exists (sort of)...

When I watched the skit, I immediately thought of Wickham's Fruit Farm in Cutchogue, NY. Yes, they have apple picking days where you can fill up a bag you bought from them for 20-30 bucks with 3-5 pounds of apples. (I'm guessing someone from the show stopped there on the way to a movie scene in Greenport.)

It can be fun, though, and nobody really does it for the apples you can get for 1-2 bucks a pound everywhere.

No petting zoo, though-- plenty of those within a few miles.
