...without the range of ability to express it... like facial expressions, body languages, etc.

But, their eyes seem really soulful to me.

When they started running together, the tears started falling. What a wonderful story!

I'm so glad they will be safe and protected for the rest of their lives.

I really love horses, grew up riding, but it's been awhile. I went to summer camp in Vermont where riding was the main activity (besides swimming) and last month I was invited to visit a "sister" camp for the day and got to spend some time with the horses. They have a very cool program there where a camper can "adopt" a horse for the summer, groom the horse, take him/her for walks, etc. I would have loved that! But there was this one handsome horse there that inexplicably no one had "adopted!" I have no idea why, so I spent the most time with him - his name was Fernando.

Everyone needs love, whether we have a tail or not.

I never really got to know much about horses. I went to a stable a few times and rode a few horses, but I never had the time to really get to know them. Now I'm old and creaky and I have arthritis, and it would be really stupid to get on a horse at this point in my life!

I know I missed out. But I'm glad there are a lot of people out there who love these magnificent animals and take care of them.

I really like horses, wish I wasn't allergic to them (I'd sneeze and itch whenever I tried riding) - that was really heart-warming to watch.
