I'm in love with my Sam all over again. She's not a cuddler. She tends to follow my dad from room

to room and only comes to me when she wants food or treats. Today she was taken downstairs to another room as they sprayed for roaches today. I got there just as the caregiver was trying to coax her out from under the bed. All I had to do was call her name and she was all over me - genuinely happy to see me. She willingly let me pick her up and 'talked' to me the whole way up to the apartment. I got her when she was 5 months old and was disappointed she didn't like to be touched. But today was a good day. Underneath all that cat aloofness - she loves me. I'm more cuddly myself these days. Maybe she senses that in me.
