I haven't gotten a screen protector yet (just ordered).
I have noticed micro scratches on the glass already.
This is surprising to me since my S8 didn't have a protector for months and not any scratches.
They must be using cheaper glass.
Anyone know how to remove these?
I don't think there are any solutions but thought I'd ask.
Thanks

(118,675 posts)was fine but the glass was chipped and has a scratch on it. I hope this screen protector lasts forever because i'm afraid that if i take it off the glass will come with it. I can't see anything but the chip when i'm on my cell. The scratches or breaks disappear when the phone is in use.

(15,265 posts)I dropped it I was sure that it was the screen cracked under the protector. The S8 has the curved edged screen and the edge felt as if it was shattered. Then I pulled the protector off and was shocked to find the screen was fine and that it was the protector that was cracked.

(17,305 posts)and it started to lift around the corners. I removed it and never got around to buying a replacement screen protector. It's been in and out of my pockets hundreds or thousands of times and all I can see on the screen are a lot of finger smudges, no scratches. Quite remarkable, really.

(38,316 posts)Maybe because I'm an absent-minded klutz.
If I'm not dropping and breaking something, or losing it, then I'm leaving it out in the open someplace it will be stolen.
My inexpensive little flip phone is just like a Star Trek communicator. It's all the high tech magic I need.
