His comments are great, his reactions so genuine. At the very end he says (paraphasing) "don't be surprised if I don't do any more music reactions. I'll be judging everything on a Pink Floyd scale and that's not fair to other bands."
At 8:55, the double tracked guitar solo on Dogs gets him.

(102,297 posts)1. I've watched a bunch of those "discovery of Pink Floyd" reaction videos...
They are sort of addicting. Also a little sad that music today, with some exceptions, is unlikely ever to match the quality and actual musical talent of decades past. Those growing up on it don't even realize what they are missing. We still have lots of genres, but with rap largely taking over (and I don't apologize for saying this because it does have its place), everything is about "beat" and "lyrics" while pure instrumental solos, background riffs and vocal melody are largely lacking.
When those watching groups like Pink Floyd for the first time realize what they have been missing, it is really revelatory. I hope they pass it on.

(32,822 posts)3. Have a look at "Ghost Love Score reaction" videos
The best ones are by vocal coaches.
This is my favourite. She catches the bizarre time signature.
