Update on my spooked cat

I’m very grateful for all the responses I got from DUers yesterday about my cat running away from me to hide.

I have some great news. Today he was his old self as if nothing had happened. He talked to me, butted heads, cuddled and he even played. He’s lying on his perch where he can see me and hasn’t looked at me in terror or run off.

I called the vet who asked me a few questions, very similar to the questions many of you asked, and he told me that if the cat is acting normally that I should just watch him and call back if he acts strangely again. I made an appointment for his yearly shots for next Monday. It’s necessary to make appointments.

I’m relieved to have him my cat to his old self. It was breaking my heart to see him running away from me in panic.

Thanks guys!

Usually while I brush my teeth and wash up and brush my hair on my side of the bathroom counter he drinks water from the faucet On his side. It’s our daily morning routine. Today he didn’t run away! So the day started normal. And so far so good!
