I've successfully resisted the urge to pay for a CBS All Access subscription, but this is so unfair! (Original Post) Bleacher Creature Jul 2019 OP

I get CBS from an HD antenna. Ironically it's the only station that comes 8n with it. (perfect reception)

I get the others from App's using ROKU.

Picard can only be seen on CBS All Access. CBS All Access requires internet connection and a paid subscription.

Besides Star Trek Discovery (which is incredible) and all the future Star Trek themed shows to come including Picard, it gives you access to the tremendous library of past CBS shows from Perry Mason to current prime time shows. It’s only a few bucks a month (although we pay a few dollars more for the “commercial free” version.
Hell, Star Trek Discovery ALONE is worth it. You get 4 new shows a month during the season that are big screen motion picture quality for a few bucks.... and folks that will drop $12.00 or $15.00 for a one time movie out (plus ridiculously overpriced snacks and folks disrupting by talking) bitch about it... 🤨

As much as I love Star Trek, I already have cable, multiple premium channels, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. There is more content out there than I can watch now. I’m tapped out. Enough.

Once the series is released, sign up for a month. Watch the series and whatever other series you might be interested in. Cancel before the month is up so you don’t get charged for an extra month. I just did that to watch “The Good Fight” and “Star Trek:Enterprise”. I finished and still had plenty of time to watch a couple of other series. The plan is $5.99 per month with some commercials or $9.99 per month with no commercials. I chose the no commercial plan. It’s worth it.

I did wait until both shows had been released. So I didn’t watch them as soon as they were released, but That doesn’t bother me.

And when I add in I want the upcoming Disney streaming service - and it looks like I'm going to have to cancel cable.
