I should probably just hand over my credit card now.

(3,327 posts)I get CBS from an HD antenna. Ironically it's the only station that comes 8n with it. (perfect reception)
I get the others from App's using ROKU.

(1,262 posts)Picard can only be seen on CBS All Access. CBS All Access requires internet connection and a paid subscription.

(121 posts)Besides Star Trek Discovery (which is incredible) and all the future Star Trek themed shows to come including Picard, it gives you access to the tremendous library of past CBS shows from Perry Mason to current prime time shows. Its only a few bucks a month (although we pay a few dollars more for the commercial free version.
Hell, Star Trek Discovery ALONE is worth it. You get 4 new shows a month during the season that are big screen motion picture quality for a few bucks.... and folks that will drop $12.00 or $15.00 for a one time movie out (plus ridiculously overpriced snacks and folks disrupting by talking) bitch about it... 🤨

(14,275 posts)As much as I love Star Trek, I already have cable, multiple premium channels, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. There is more content out there than I can watch now. Im tapped out. Enough.

Once the series is released, sign up for a month. Watch the series and whatever other series you might be interested in. Cancel before the month is up so you dont get charged for an extra month. I just did that to watch The Good Fight and Star Trek:Enterprise. I finished and still had plenty of time to watch a couple of other series. The plan is $5.99 per month with some commercials or $9.99 per month with no commercials. I chose the no commercial plan. Its worth it.
I did wait until both shows had been released. So I didnt watch them as soon as they were released, but That doesnt bother me.
