All we need is music, sweet music
There'll be music everywhere
There'll be swingin', swayin' and records playin'
And dancing in the street,

Pure joy and motion!

(160,545 posts)5. Uh, oh! I had to rerun "Dancing in the Streets" done by the only right singers, to check this out:
Caught it out of the corner of my eye near the end of the song the first time, and went back to make sure. It looks to me as if the little Fuhrer at the bottom of the post is rocking out in his seat in time to Martha and the Vandellas! Amazing!
Dick Clark was right when he said other people have done the song but no one does it as well as the Vandellas.
Imagine Adolph "getting down" to that song. He always thought it was "Marching in the Streets."
Thanks for sharing that song. There is nothing like it.
