Algebra Word Problem Time. (Advanced Edition)

My elementary school aged kid attended a week of Day Camp at the local humane society.

I told her to be on the lookout for a nice smallish dog that might need a home, and that due to Mom's allergies and my hating cat litter we wouldn't let her get a kitteh.

For $1, what color is the new kitten?

I'm glad she found a slightly more mellow kitteh. I just feel for our chihuahua who is having a meltdown.
