More than 440,000 UFO enthusiasts signed up to “storm Area 51” through a Facebook event in efforts to "see them aliens."

As of Friday afternoon, the event, titled Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us, has over 442,000 people signed up to attend. More than 450,000 others have also indicated interest in the event.

“We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry,” the event description reads. “If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.”

The event is set to take place on Sept. 20 at Area 51, an Air Force base in Nevada where many conspiracy theorists have long believed the U.S. government holds top secret information about extraterrestrial life. They also allege the area to have been the site of frequent UFO sightings.

2. I project actual turnout will be 0.051% of whatever number officially sign up to attend

Should we have an informal competition?

Everyone make a prediction -- Price Is Right rules (closest w/o going over wins), percent of sign-up number as of 24 hours before the alleged event (not sign-up + interested number), limit your number to two significant figures.

Um, yes they can. Armies much bigger, much better trained, and much better equipped have been stopped by them before.

16. But the Area 51 Alien Travel Center is 225 miles away,

in Amargosa Valley, Nevada. It's a 3 hour drive from there to Rachel, Nevada, the closest you can get to Area 51 on a public highway.

The Area 51 Travel Center is not a "tourist attraction." All it has is a gas station, convenience store, cafe and a brothel. The brothel was owned by Dennis Hof, who died last year with his name still on the ballot for the state legislature.

Next to the store is a fireworks store, and across the highway is a public rest area, and there was another gas station/store/restaurant on that side, but that one just burned down a couple of weeks ago.

So this is the place they are going to meet up at? They are going to have 450,000 people meet at this crossroads in the desert and tell them all they are in the wrong place, and that they need to drive 225 miles more tp Rachel before they can storm Area 51?
