How's the weather?

Here in PA, we’re having what my mother always called “Stechendes Wetter.” Hot, humid, close, the sun filtered through a yellowish haze, a threat of thunder on the horizon. The sort of weather that triggers migraines and keeps me indoors reading with a cold drink in hand.

1. Hot and humid in Central Virginia

An early afternoon thunderstorm did nothing to cool us off. It's even more humid. Thick and sticky is a good way to describe the air outside.

MUCH nicer than the last couple of days. Sounds like tomorrow and Monday might be close to perfect - low 80's, sunny and not too humid.
